Sounds like shit!
I have been using a hacked GH1 for the past year or so and can record until my SD card fills up or battery dies - about 2 hours straight. I love working with it but would really like some of the improvements in the later GH models, hence why i mentioned them. I also agree with the above mention of old lenses; i really just use some old prime lenses and love it. You'll also save battery power using prime lenses since you're adjusting aperture and focus manually.
