Stupid question time, as I have little experience w/ Real Audio.

I was trying to view the video of Superior's performance of "Why" at the video section.

I guess the quick question is: can I view it completely locally?

I downloaded the file for 90+ minutes (dial up connection), but when it tries to view it, it seems to need to connect Progpower.com, and 'communicate' with it. Frequently. As approximately every 30 seconds of the video, it stops playing and indicates it "communicating"....for 2+ minutes before resuming for another 30 seconds.

This is irritating me to no end.

Am I screwed until I get broadband? Am I missing something?

Thanks for any help!

Jon.

Dude,

What browser are you using?

If Nutscrape, right-click on the link from the Audio/vid page, and choose "Save Link As..."

If IE, right-click and choose "Save Target As..."

You can put the file somewhere and look at it through explorer... if "Real" Player still wants to connect, well... my version doesn't, so I don't know what to tell ya...

Dude.....I completely spaced on the "Save Target As..." something I've used a few hundred times before.

Doh!

It worked perfectly.

Thanks for reminding me.
