yea, hocus pocus might have been the perfect fast jam if the yodeling had been left out, but ive gotten to aquire the taste or at least tolerate them over the years. But id easily say that Jan Akkerman is possibly one of the first real "guitar virtuosos" back in the day. Along with the likes of Hackett and Howe, etc. Some serious chops and creativity. "In and out of focus" is probably my favorite focus album.
