On May 12, THE PRETTY RECKLESS played an acoustic set for WAAF listeners in Boston, Massachusetts. A clip of the "Heaven Knows" performance can be seen below. Although THE PRETTY RECKLESS spoke not too long ago about taking some time out from the road to record an acoustic album, it now appears that those plans may have been abandoned. Singer Taylor Momsen told a West Virginia radio station, "I don't know if [the acoustic album is] actually gonna happen; it's been so chaotic. It's something I wanted to do, but we just haven't had the time to actually do it." Momsen told Loudwire late last year about the project, "We're making it very simple, just giving the listener an inside look as to how the song started when I was sitting on my couch
It's something you don't get from an artist very often, how the writer actually wrote the song as opposed to hearing the produced, done version." As for material for the follow-up to last year's breakthrough album, "Going To Hell", Momsen told the radio station, "I'm always jotting down ideas, but I tend to not really write on the road
The real meat of the material [comes together] when I get home, after [all the touring] is done." "Going To Hell", THE PRETTY RECKLESS' sophomore album, was released in March 2014.
