Edit: Look to the bottom...V V V

Sorry for the post. I wanted to alert everyone about a really bad virus. It is the Klez. This one wipes out all the data on your computer and randomly generates random subject lines and fakes the "from" fields on e-mails.

More information and ways to get rid of it are here:
http://thundercloud.net/help/virus-alerts/klez.htm

I just got this virus from a mailing list a couple of days ago, but didn't open the attachment.

Don't open any attachments unless you know they are and are expecting them.

The unfortunate thing is some of the Outlook mail programs automatically open attachments (along with viruses) if you only view or click on the e-mail. Be careful.

thanx mousewings....I've never been caught by a virus yet, but well sometimes it's hard.....that HappyTime nearly fucked me, and still I don't know why I didn't get infected, it wasn't on any attachement but hidden on the html code....odd!

I will continue to top this thread if I find new viruses...

The first one:
don't go or be tricked into going to these websites:

They are hoax websites designed to download a virus to your computer when you go there. Information.

Also don't open an attachment to an e-mail that offers an immunity tool (the attachment) to the Klez virus. The attachment is the virus. More information.

Thank you for your time. Back to regularly scheduled programming. :D

@phyre: no, i got nothing to tell you but i feel chupi because i recognised your signature. :hotjump:

:) Good they don't work (they must have been taken down). You have courage to check out the links. Thank you for doing so...

Hmm... I am one who does not recognize your signature... :D
