Yesterday a girl recommended this band, she said they are the ultimate speed death metal band, what are your views?

Good band. Techy brutal death, with a few groovy parts thrown in now and then.

Visceral Bleeding is similiar to SoP but not as good. They're fast,technical but lack hooks coming off dull and not memorable.

I've got the 'Remnants Of Deprivation' album - fast, technical, but as someone else said, unless you're really into the 'riff salad' style of songwriting, listening to the entire album can become a blure of squeals and chugs and choppy rhythms. 'Carved Down To The Bone' and 'To Disgrace Condemned' rule though.

They are technical and catchy. So if you are into that sort of thing, they are great. I like them, but they do not rank among my favorites.

Their first album is pretty decent, they're not a great band, just alright.
