Hey,
I changed my room to a new place...its not just a studio, its m living room, too.
In this apartment I have one room left and I want to record vocals in this one.
This size is about 4m x 2,2m x 2,5m high.
The Porblem is that I have to turn down the volume of the singer(becuase of the neighbors). I was thinking about building two walls in this room to make a booth like this:

Is this the bet way for me? How big should it be and what about resonances in this little box?

Thanks for help!

that won't help you too much and will also not sound really good.
you should save up and get a proper booth (I know, they can be some thousands...some hundreds if you build them yourself).
also, you'll end up with a too low ceiling..after you put in another floor (or two), another ceiling (or two), acoustic material etc you'll end up with a height of max 210cm or something (if you build it right probably even less).
you'll not get a good sound in there.
