Hi guys! I'm not new to this forum but I am new to posting. I want to thank the people running this forum they've been a great help to me in learning production. I'm doing a project for a band that wants their vocals to have a doubled effect. They referenced the Trivium album "The Crusade," which to me sounds just like a chorus. I just can't seem to get the same effect though.

any ideas?

Are you talking about the actual double or some sort of group chant? I think the Trivium vocal sound isn't anything that crazy. Maybe another performance trying to match the first exactly, lower in the mix. Probably processed differently. I don't hear anything more than that though. Want to post an example so we can help you out more?

I want to know how you get that Joey Belladonna slightly chorused double sound that Anthrax used to have.

Fuck yeah, the old school Anthrax vocals sound awesome. Sounds like there's some kind of ambience reverb or something?

Just listening to Medusa now!
