So in a past life I was a vocalist and guitarist and a sucky one at that. Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things I'm trying to do things right. Problem I'm having though is the utter lack of comprehensive resources on vocal theory, practice routines, trouble shooting etc. I don't do well with scattered ideas like a random youtube vid here and there. I do well with textbook A-Z in one package big picture kind of approaches. Short of a vocal coach, what is out there online or in book/cd format that could help me?
It doesn't have to be specific to metal. I would love to get better at growls/screams as well but what I really want more than anything else is those power vocals (maiden, enforcer, etc)
