Volbeat: April 16th- Atlanta, Center Stage

Can't find tour dates online with a cursory Google search, but this gives me the info I need to know. Anything else in the Midwest? Des Moines? Omaha? Tulsa? Goddamn tours. Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis are not the only Midwestern cities with metal fans!:waah:

The dates are on their website and the closest is Chicago. This is really irritating I would have figured we would have gotten a bone thrown to us on this one, though I thought the same about the Kamelot tour this fall.

But when it rains, it pours. There are still four shows I'm going to in our area this month:

Death Angel + others
Eluveitie + others
Motorhead, Clutch, Valient Thorr
Malevolent Creation

Then...hopefully the stuff you told me about comes through too. So it could be worse...but I guess since we're not Chicago, Minneapolis, or NYC, it could be wayyyyy better!

Glenn, the moment I saw this show announced -- at Center Stage -- I thought of you. :kickass:

They will be playing in Orlando, the same night that Game of Thrones premiers on HBO.

Damn.

If you are a George R.R. Martin fan, you know what a tough choice this will be...

DVR or Tivo the show. Volbeat will only be there once.

(Which night is that premiere, BTW? I have to add HBO to my cable service before the show starts.)

Was pretty pumped when I saw they had an Orlando date. Got less pumped when I realized that it's the same night as Maiden in Tampa... Now, that's some jacked up planning...

Bought my ticket to the NYC show in March within the first 10 minutes they were on sale. Will not miss out or get ripped off again!

So, there is now a date for Montreal, QC, Canada for Tuesday, April 26th at Club Soda. I'll be there, as I was thinking of driving to Clifton Park, NY. That'll save me 4 hours of driving (2½ hours instead of 6½).

Can't wait to see them live for the very first time!

ACCEPT / SABATON April 17, Montreal
ACCEPT / SABATON April 18, Quebec City
VOLBEAT April 26, Montreal

April will be a very metal month...

So, whose going to the NYC show tonight? Anyone know anything about the openers? So nice of the weather to provide us with excellent walking environment to the show. Now, do I wear my winter coat and check it or light weight coat and freeze my butt off outside?

I'm so excited for the Boston show! I can't wait to finally see Volbeat for the first time! (The listing here includes Hourcast, but not The Damned Things. Wonder if it's a typo or if TDTs are not playing this date)

GREAT show last night, but holy crap it was crowded. I was stuck up in a balcony with only a partial view and had to watch most of the show on a screen. Still, very glad I went. Really long encore. Four songs, I think? Can't give you a full setlist, but they played all the hits and some other excellent stuff besides. All you who are seeing later shows are going to have a great time!
