wayyy too much compression and gain, but the playing is very good. also try adding some reverb on the soloy parts i.e. the intro riff

Veil of Maya doesn't have a strings/keys player, so none of their songs do haha. For drums, I replaced everything but the cymbals. Snare is replaced with 2 snares: a yamaha I pulled from this forum, blended with samples I made from my Tama Stagestar 13" snare, kick is a sample I pulled off the first Born of Osiris album and eq'd it a little to sound more like VOM's kick, tom's are superior drummer with my own presets, and overheads/hi hat were 2 stereo pair CAD condensors/and a peavy condensor for hh.

And yes, drums will all be midi, except for cymbals.
