uh how is it not good? the genuine pulse, gods of my world, inherit the earth are amazing songs and the others are good. the production and mixing is the best they've ever done. the symbol crashes sound awesome and the snare drums are perfect. the vocal melodies are excellent even if vintersorg sucks. the melodies he came up with are way better than his actual voice.

First three tracks on that one are pretty cool. Vintersorg does lack Vortex's general epicness though.
I agree, but the rest of it was really bland and forgettable. Give Urd some time to grow on you, it took me awhile to appreciate all of it, but now the song I liked the least (The Winter Eclipse) is one of my favorites.

I put it on my mp3 player so I'll give it more time, but so far, I don't find it remotely interesting. I always get excited for Borknagar but they've just let me down again and again.
Universal definitely let me down, I was about ready to give up on them.
