I found some really nice quality concert footage from the VXI tour somehow. Oh that's right, it was linked in the Blaze doing "wasted years" video in the other topic on here.

Blaze is in top form for real. fkn awesome.

I think i'll always have a soft spot for this era of Maiden... possibly because i'm such a contrarian and I'm kinda proud that Maiden was STILL my favourite band when they had gone way out of fashion and it wasn't cool to like them anymore. That being said, it's awesome how popular they've become again in the past few years.

And just so you know i haven't gone soft in my old age, last night i posted this in a bulliten on myspace and then deleted anyone who replied back with anti-blaze comments :lol:

I have a soft spot for it as VXI was the first new Maiden album to come out after I became a fan. When he is in form, Blaze is awesome. Can't wait for his new album.

Well, I must disagree on Killers - I think it's a completely underrated piece of work - but X Factor is definitely one of their strongest albums. :)

I haven't listened to any of the Blaze stuff (solo or Maiden) for years now!
Maybe it's time to give them a spin again.

Finally watched it!

Awesome. :rock::rock:
Don't know why, but I was under the impression that they never played Lightning Strikes Twice live. Or was the When Two Worlds Collide? (also a ripper)

edit - the vid does tend to support the theory that Jan cannot play a half decent solo. :(
