Italy....cool!!I've never been there though..
and i can't speak Italian.. "sono un dormilione gatto" (totally wrong spelling) is the only phrase i know.....hahaa

well, i could say: greece! cool! but since you're probably used to living there as i am to living here, some of the coolness surely has worn off after the first 20 years. ;)

as for your mystical italian verse, ahem... let's just say that the correct spelling would probably be 'sono un gatto dormiglione' (the noun goes before the adjective in most cases, in this old-fashioned language). the point is: it means 'i'm a sleepy cat'. why would you say such a thing, pray? :D

you mean ancient greek?????
We had this in school..but i don't remember much...hehe
anyway it has never been my target to read the original text of "Odysseia" ;)

yep, i studied ancient greek for 5 years too. (say, atlantis, are you going to tell me we've been to school together, now, aren't you? :) ).
i reckon it's quite different from modern greek. and i reckon that's a pathetic excuse for not even trying to remember the tiniest bit or catch phrase of it. ;)

sorry, my mistake. from now on i will refer to you as an it. :)

before the zboard thing... you must be referring to the times when i used to endlessly rant about dt lyrics with jeroen j.w. tiggelmann (where are you, now, jeroen?), instead of endlessly rant about nothing at all like i do now.

Sorry, that loudspeaker in your bedroom was left on by accident. It is meant to be used only by nights while you're sleeping to send crypted messages to affect your mental stability - oops, I didn't mean to tell that, forget this paragraph...

About scandinavian languages, swedish, danish and norwegian indeed are pretty close to each other and although many words are almost unrecognisable from speech, they are rather similar when written and the basic structures of the languages are very similar. Finnish, on the other hand, is not even relative to the others, due to different origins (Finnish is closer to hungarian and other languages, originating from Siberia). And that's why all Finns hate to study the "forced swedish" in schools.

And I, too, miss Jeroen.
