Waking up with random songs in your head?

I woke up with a Korn song that doesn't exist stuck in my head. Yea, weird. Sounded like something they would put out now. Really shitty. Kind of sucks considering my subconscious seems to have "written" it.

I can't sleep without some noise either. I set an old alarm clock to a station that doesn't come in for some white noise. We had one of those sound machine things but one day it decided to start fucking with me in the middle of the night by shutting off and leaving me to wonder why I couldn't get back to sleep.

When I'm in the shower, I start singing along it and that's when I notice something's actually playing in my head. After that, I start thinking to myself, "why is this specific song playing in my head right now?"

Today, it was some reggae song. Don't even know its name.
