I asked Him about his rates and he said it depends on if it's just a song, album, you wanna do it over the internet or him come to your studio...I would have him do it at my studio just so i can watch him work.

of course it would depend on the process.

I would personnally never charge them for anything that is not technicall. It would be interesting on technical parts, but for any other work it's useless, of course.
