Wanting help with Wacken Open Air 2012

Hello all, I am planning on flying to Europe next year (out of New York City) for WOA and have a few questions to anyone who has been there.
Are there package deals available? festival ticket, hotel, shuttle to the site?
At this point in time there are many hotels available in Hamburg for that time,I'm assuming there are shuttles from Hamburg to the site and back?

Thanks for your help.This will be my first trip to Europe so excuse any ignorance on my part.

I've been there. What airport do you plan to arrive in?

The easiest way to get to Wacken is from Hamburg, since it's all connected by train/ S-Bahn - the trip to Itzehoe is @ 35 euro.

From Itzehoe to Wacken there are busses/ shuttles, and in 2010 it cost 8 euro (as many trips as you want). Or you can hitchhike from somebody heading there.

Festival ticket is 150 euro, it includes camping, just check their site for this info. If you want a hotel in Wacken or Itzehoe, then you should probably hurry.
