Wasp is only another old school band that I dont know much about but sounds cool. I've heard their song Widowmaker, and by all acounts that song kicks ass. I was wondering which of their CD's are good, and if most of their songs are like that.

Ah, my brother. The great WASP! I will say this...they are one of my favorite bands of all time, but you gotta stick to the first 2 or 3 albums. It's all downhill from there. WASP, THE LAST COMMAND, and even INSIDE THE ELECTRIC CIRCUS are classics, or LIVE IN THE RAW if you want a good "best of" but stay away from anything after that in my opinion...

I agree mostly with TEDVANMOTHERFUCKINFREHLEY here but I must add a few I like in addition to those ... Now Live in the Raw is Great and worthy of purchase but so is DOUBLE LIVE ASASSINS, CRIMSON IDOL, HELLDORADO, and for a little something Different but still great and WASP in my ears is KILLFUCKDIE!

WASP-S/T. One of my favorite albums EVER. Great fuckin' album if you want straight up, raw, bare bones and catchy as all fuck heavy FUCKIN' metal. Other great WASP albums: The Headless Children, Into the Electric Circus and The Crimson Idol.

The Idol isn't bad, but a lame concept record...
Almost as horrible as the Neon God(awful)...
That's like when they did Fletch(a horrible movie) & thought there was a need or demand for a Fletch II!!!!!!
Blackie has lost his edge & should probably just produce if you ask me...

Simple answer:

Self titled debut is the W.A.S.P. album to get!!!!! Full of classics - one of the most in your face, catchy, anthemic, consistent and attitude driven metal albums of all time.

After that... The Last Command is half really good too (but has its share of filler). And I think The Headless Children is a great album too... and Hellorado from 1999 is basically a return to the sound & attitude of the first 2 albums, raw in your face sleazy LA style metal. Total rock & roll!!

Defenatly get the first one (Winged Assassins/Selftitled), The Last Command, Inside the Electric Circus and The Headless Children. I never liked Crimson Idol all that much but never the less you can't be all out Old School without some WASP!

THey fucking rock live and this is coming from a 22 year old Inflames fan. Thy were one of the best shows If ever been to. Stet Howland was awesome live. I really liked all their stuff. From the S/T up to Neon God. I strongly support WASP. Raven Heart and Wicked Heart both kick ass. Their self titled with Tormentor is the be all end all.

But he needs a big mic stand, cause he's so damn bloated.
