I'm listening to it for the first time right now and it sounds great!

Sounded like boring, nothing-out-of-the-ordinary black metal to me, so I listened to their older one instead, and liked it a bit better, then never listened to it again and forgot about the band!

It's the only Watain I've heard and I enjoyed it. Haven't listened to much of it lately, maybe I'll just pick it up seeing as I'm on such a shopping spree lately.

Seriously though, its a phenomenal album. I think Rabid Death Curse has a little edge over it though, almost all the songs on that album are awesome.

Everything about it is close to perfection: the production, the vocals, the riffs, the drumming, the lyrics - stunning album, and Rabid Death's Curse is almost as good

So what do you make of the new sample? Personally I think it sounds too melodic and straight forward. Perhaps it's an early unmixed version, but it doesn't sound very good productionwise either. It also reminds me of Reinkaos, or is it only me?

I really had my hopes up but now I'm not so sure any longer... daemn

I honestly don't hear anything wrong with it. It jumps around a bit more with tempos, but I certainly don't hear much of this Reinkaos influence. And even then, I'm starting to appreciate Reinkaos, so

Haven't listened to the new sample yet so no opinion, but it's from a demo recorded earlier this year and not the album version in any way so some flaws are excused
