TMZ posted a short clip of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo surrounding a Gelson's deli meat counter flanked by a speaker inside a shopping cart blaring "Sandman". As they smile and headbang along with others in the gathering crowd, the band gives props to the beaming deli man behind the counter who happily takes the vocal lead with METALLICA's encouragement. METALLICA played a special intimate show last night at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, California. All proceeds from the sale of tickets to this show will be donated to Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Fans were also encouraged to bring canned foods and non-perishable items to the show for donation as well. METALLICA last month played a similar show in Toronto, with proceeds also going to a food bank in that city. METALLICA's latest album, "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct", debuted as expected at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart on November 27, selling 291,000 copies in its first week of release.
