Agree. Comments on GS seem encouraging.

Not to derail the thread, but I'm hanging out for Slate's VMR, really hoping their EQ emus will be a step up on current analogue options.

Hell yeah, I've been really happy with Slate VBC. Only wish I could use it mono as well.
