I can't recommend this band enough.

It's exactly what I said it is - Irish folk metal. Fiddles, tin whistles, and guitars that rip your guts out and shove them back down your throat.

All their music is based on Irish mythology.

They would be an excellent fit. Them and a group like Mägo de Oz (spanish folk metal). What can I say... I love Folk Metal.

Oh. I almost forgot. I ran into their lead guitarist while playing Everquest a while back. ((He was playing as a character named Dargor ... obviously how we started talking metal.)) He mentioned he lived in Dublin so I asked if he knew about Waylander. Pretty odd to be told you're talking about Waylander to the guy who practically IS Waylander...

So, I mentioned ProgPower to him when I talked to him, and he did say they were very interested in coming to the states if they ever get the opportunity. HINT HINT!
