Anybody figure out what he is humming yet. I am so close to figuring it out, yet I can't put my finger on it. I have not seen anybody post what it was yet so sorry if it is somewhere else.

Hello World,
Thought I knew you well,
Hello World,
Always hard to tell,
When you're gonna take me there again,
There you're gonna watch until the end.

I copied it from the "WCFYA Lyrics" thread on this board...

I'm fucked if I know.......at first I thought it's someone listening to a walkman, humming the tune and shaking one of those eggs with rice in them......

Just a guess, anyway....

I know it has to be something. They would not put it on there for no reason............or would they?????? Maybe to fucking drive me crazy?? Anyways someone has got to be able to figure it out cuz I sure the hell can't.

i think it's it's charlie humming along while shaking those egg shakers, and in the background you can hear his headphone mix- if you listen closely i think you can hear the track.
i think there's only one song on WCFYA that has an egg shaker in it but can;t remember which one...

Its as max said - during the recording of WCFYA there area all sorts of bits and pieces that are eventually put together to make each track instrumental overdubs, samples and on this occasion Charlie using a shaker to add some background sound to a track (sorry but I cant rememeber which one!! - I will ask him) - and what happened was that during a run through of the track Charlie was tapping and humming as well as shaking the shaker and it was recorded - obviously because it had humming on it it couldnt be used on the final track but it was kept and turned up here!!

OK!!

Whatever it is, it's dead space and a party killer when the CD is on shuffle play with a bunch of others. Down with hidden tracks!!!
Hidden tracks where it's not a continuation of the last song are alright. If it's an actual seperate track, but unlisted, that's cool then.

I'm with N.F.F.!
What if a W.C.F.Y.A CD was put in a jukebox? And the song with the hidden track was played?
Chaos!! Total Chaos!!

Back in the day.....1994....there was a bar in this town I used to work in, that had SOWN on there jukebox.

Every night after work a bud and I would roll down there and drink our dinner allowance away (only $7..but when tappers are $.50, you can get a little tipsy).

We would get all ripped up, and play that disc til the patrons were all bitter with us. Bunch of old coots (coffin dodgers that is!)

Man, those were the good ol' days!

good point but have you ever seen a 'Thrax record in a jukebox?
It will be a great day when that happens. But it's certainly not unreasonable for one of us to want to throw in an Anthrax CD at a house party. But then the long silence before the hidden track will come up just as you're saying something really embarrassing, and the whole party will hear it out of context, and everyone will laugh at you. Again. :D
