i disagree. i grew up a roman catholic, and i went to a roman catholic school. this is exactly something they would come up with. i remember having a lecture very similar to this about being a satanist.

I used to see people where metal t-shirts to congregation, back when I attended (highschool and earlier) the priests here didn't seem to be bothered. Nor did anyone else.
