Well what can I say. I have been happily doing anthraxaustralia.com now for over a year without any sort of payment or kickbacks. Also I must mention that I have never wanted to do it for payment or kickbacks, just good old fashioned fun. Support the undergorund was the ethic that I grew up with. I have done this off my own back and have enjoyed what I have done for a band that I have always had the utmost respect for...until now.

I am so dissapointed that I have not been informed about any of this, ie: all the reunion, tours etc. Sure I heard whispers but the band did nothing to confirm this with me. Not that I should be privvy to the inside Anthrax story, but when my website gets included in the GO2E cd booklet and I have no info about the band of my website then I look a bit foolish when new info is not on there.

So keep an eye on Ebay for all my anthrax shirts and possibly the domain name as I have had enough of all this shit.

I talked to both Charlie and Scott at length last year about the band, touring etc and I just don't have anything left in my heart to do this anymore. This is not right, the reunion, but it is ther choice, but a choice I cannot endorse at the moment. Sorry guys...but you blew it for me.

Mate you did a great job with the site and I understand how you're feeling just simply from a fan's perspective - the lack of info for the fans has been dismal. I'm sorry to see you chucking the band in altogether though, but that's your call completely. Take it easy bro.

Browsers don't refresh by themselves, you have to either refresh the page or close the window and re-open it in order for the page to re-load. Actually it can get even more complicated depending on personal settings. (Sigh) Don't you just love computers? :hypno:

Well see what happens. I first heard about all this at the beginning on March and just freaked me out and pissed me off. I am an old headbanger...lol...and have a tendency to get pissed off with things at times. Maybe in week I will be all cool again, but right here, right now I am over it.

The only reason I get so passionately pissed off is when I care a great deal about things, and Anthrax is something I cared for. The music they created with both Joey and especially John has shaped my life along a few other key bands.

Time will tell...

Hope you'll have a change of heart, maintaining a website is a lot of work and I can understand how you might get frustrated. Bands change but the music we love and the memories remain. If you do continue the website, I will definately check it out!

As for what's next... apparently nobody cares anyway so I'll just leave you hanging. But I have a feeling most of you will check back no matter how much you flame.

Anthrax does what ever the fuck it wants to. If you're not down simply back away from the keyboard and get back to jerking off as usual. Anthrax doesn't owe you a goddamn thing, spend your money on whatever the fuck you want to. Go back to Blabbermouth and rip Anthrax and every other band a new asshole while at the same time thanking Satan that there's still a metal scene to rip on.

Everybody knows I'm a Bush guy in both my politics and my music. But if Anthrax want to reunite with Jason Rosenfeld and John Connelly and play Long Island proms and bar mitzvahs that's their prerogative and I doubt they'll be getting yours or my permission first.

Bush and I just both had baby girls (I fathered both hahaha, kidding) and we email talking lame baby stories usually. He's not exactly stoked about having the summer off but he's not full of venom for the other guys about it and hasn't bitched anywhere near as much as you winners. As usual, John is cooler than everybody else.

As for my Opinion - which is a bigger, smellier, hairier asshole than yours, I'm curious to see the reunited lineup because I want to see now what I never got to see back in the day. I never caught a pre-Bush Anthrax show. And judging by the concert ticket sales, I'm not alone. As for the future I just hope an Anthrax exists for you douches to rip on. A world without Anthrax is a lot lamer, quieter place.
 
Its a temp site, you can tell by how the pages are named, for example the index page is:

anthrax.com/a/

everysite I have seen or designed use a index page, the a is a temp directory
 
yeah i agree site sucks, plain and simple tho, hope it goes back to how it was, and hope alot of things, but i have to agree with brent, they have always done wat made them happy, and so far its made us happy to or we wouldnt be here, lets trust their choice and see how it works out before we go selling our shirts/cds/etc...
