So after way too long, I finally put a website up for my services. Aside from the usual mixing/editing/tracking/mastering stuff, I'll now be offering private one on one Pro Tools lessons and unofficial Pro Tools tech support.

Lessons : Pretty much anything Pro Tools can be covered. I'll be taking people who have never even used the program, all the way up to doing advanced macro/key command classes, as well as complex editing techniques.

Tech Support : This is unofficial, I have to make that clear. I do not work for Avid not have they authorized me to do anything like this. However, I feel the complete lack of any real tech support from them is appalling, so I'll be offering a service in which through the same one on one setup, I'll be able to look at tech issues you're having on your system and hopefully solve them.

If you have any interest, just go to the site and message me.

I have this tech issue where my mixes are dogshit. Can you help me with that?

You'll notice I went out of my way to not say anything about the quality of my work...sooo... no. You're on your own there.

ill be taking you up on this hollywood. is it cool for us to do naked Skype sessions? it helps me mix.

naked sessions are 9.99$ a minute, minimum 15 minutes and require a credit card and proof of legal age.

Even though I have used protools for years and consider myself a professional, I'm still very interested in learning your workflow with protools as well as features I might not implicate into my editing and mixing, or even know about for that matter that could be a huge time saver.

I'm totally into the idea though and I'm going to shoot you a email to discuss this further.

im guna third this, im pretty fast with protools, know quite alot and have a solid work flow, but it'd be interesting to see if someone else can bring me up a few notches, curious to know if you are on mac or PC C_F_H_13?

Awesome man! I emailed you back, I'm still not sure if emails from me go to peoples junk mail or not, so just making sure you know I sent it!

Actually both. My primary machine is now a PC running nuendo 6 for mixing and PT 10.3 for tracking and editing, but I also have a mac with identical software on it. So really I could do it on either platforms.

After a bit of a debacle in another thread in regards to actually bouncing a song out properly for someone else to mix, I felt compelled to make a video on how to do this in pro tools.

Not the most exciting video, but this is a fairly basic thing that a lot of people get wrong.

Friendly bump for Chris :headbang:

I had many issues on my PT system on my new computer. He has been very patient and professional and gave me a bunch of very helpful advices. I think I'll call him again soon for some PT lessons this time (always great to learn and be able to work better and faster!)

Highly recommended!
