heard that vh-1 storytellers disc with JCash and Willie Nelson? That's pretty good. Just the two of them doing their own songs on acoustics. I should pick up me some Merle Haggard too.

Neko is great though- she writes all her songs herself too, which makes me oh-so-jealous.
 
Yeah, I've got that storytellers CD. It's fun n all, but they both have much better live records. All of those guys are great when it's just them and a guitar: willie, john, and merle. HOWEVER- stay the fuck away from the Highwaymen! NOT GOOD! BAD 80s production!!
