Weird crackle with my guitars...

I recorded a band the other day and noticed a weird clipping sound with my guitar tracks. I am using a single track from a 5150II and the same DI through an amp sim to kinda beef up the mid frequencies. Also, I notice the same issue when layering 2 different takes. I have checked and there seems to be no actual clipping but the sound is still there.

(The individual tracks dont make that sound... only when I layer the tracks on top of each other.)

You can really notice it after :20 and before :40...

sounds like clipping to me, maybe you are clipping the output of a plugin somewhere? Try removing plugins from the tracks until the sound goes away then you'll know where your culprit is.

I pretty much made sure that nothing was clipping (plugins or faders or anything else I could think of) but I will give everything another look.

Ok, Nothing is clipping. When I only run the 5150 track it stops and when I only run the amp sim it stops also but when I mix the two different tracks it starts crackling and buzzing like that...
