Not to get too off topic something that I wanted to mention a few days ago, we had some extreme weather changes in California (Sacramento Valley to be exact) that led to record breaking lows, all the way down to about -8C, then we got some small amounts of snow. Its so rare to get temps that low that I had to so outside with nothing more than flannel sleep pants, and T-Shirt and a bath rod to have a smoke, nothing better than watching your hands turn blue from the excessive cold, its not like it happens all the time over here, so in a weird way its kind of enjoyable.

No you still do....to keep it from freezing.

So its not a refrigerator anymore its a heater!

I heard it's going to be -20 celsius for the rest of the week.

My car got warm at the time I was already home from school, so it took approximately 45 minutes to warm it up. Not cool.

Being in Québec, Canada, I understand your situation haha.
And they say we're gonna have -35 celsius (with wind though, without it's gonna be like a maximum of -15) on wednesday.

"Winter - The realm of eternal ice
Snowfall and darkness descends upon the vales of time
Distant caress of the sun's fading light
The lands were painted white with the Winter's might"

In one week we had about 50cm of snow, which is about 20 inches.

:kickass:

-17c when I got off to work today, and we'll probably hit -30c up here. I spent 25 minutes scraping the windows of my car, and I still had to drive with my head out of the window. I'm gonna build a time machine, hunt down the fuckbag of a neanderthal who thought "Hey, this looks like a nice place to settle down" and beat the living shit out of his caveman ass.

Oh yeah, I just love scraping windows. First you scrape outside and also inside, then drive for a minute and the windows are frozen again. This morning I had to drive half blind. I guess I would get faster (and safer) to work by walking :D

Also some water pipe got frozen and blew at the workplace this morning. Luckily there were some guys to shut down the main line. Imagine if that would happen at night when no one was there :ill:

I miss summer :(

Boooo to the cold. While it gets pretty freezing here in the northeast, we've yet to reach the temperatures that you Finns have to deal with!

I was reminded of the cold yesterday though, when I fell down my front steps, which had black ice on them, while smoking a cig. Booo to me and boo to the rain when it's freezing out.
