i just called the only two local used CD places that would carry such shit and told them to be on the lookout.

one did mention a kid coming in with a starcraft "protoss up yo assz" shirt, but i kept my mouth shut.

nick did you call the police? i mean, not that it's a huge claim but i mean, they may have been arrested after that for doing that to someone else's car? it's always good to file a report.

i did file a report. the cop was creepy and seemed unnaturally occupied with:

october ("hi, come in, yeah, uh, my car isn't here but the license plate is..." "HEY - WHAT'S THIS LITTLE GUY'S NAME???!!??")
my bookcase (darting eyes THE ENTIRE TIME, as if scanning for the notorious lovecraftian bong)
my rent (???)

but yes, i did file a police report and the CD stores i called said that as long as i did that, they could confiscate any unusually awesome and well-thought out death metal collections they came across
