Through the reccomendations of some friends and the help of Derick, I just got my hands on "The Principle of Evil Made Flesh" by Cradle of Filth. Now don't get me wrong- I hate what they are now just as much as any of you. But hot shit, this album is fantastic. The atmoshphere is completely unique. Anyone else heard this gem?

I heard it some years ago... I completely hated that album because I was not used of listening to this kind of music... but if I give it a try now I'm pretty sure I would like some songs.

I still think Midian is one of the best melodic black metal album out there.... Cruelty was also great... Princible and Vempire were too "windy" for my taste ...Dusk was just fine

I really dont get all those people who say they hate cradle of filth, yet can't give a valid reason why.
I bet I can find 4-5 bands in their collection that will remind them of old cradle...
