What a trip!

I find that the most journey-like album Opeth has is My Arms. Your Hearse... but close to it would be Morningrise ...

I don't find BWP journey-like at all . I don't actually like it as much anymore . If I wanna hear Opeth . I just put in 3 cd's of em (morning, mayh,Sl) and let them play through , that's the only way to listen to an opeth album . just let it play .. and sit in your room on shrooms haha

I didn't liked BWP very much exept for couple songs, if you want a real journey listen to Still Life or Orchid... those are mind blowing albums...

Stop!! No!!!

Don't taint peoples minds with your opinion!!!! (only kidding:grin: )

Really - I find it amazing the varying feelings Opeth albums give to different people. That's why I refrain from giving MY opinion, and tell people to get whichever Opeth album/song they can get their hands on, and make their own opinion.

Opeth is a very personal experience.

Well in my opinion bwp is the least journey like, but I still love to listen to it. I agree that mayh is the most jouney like for some reason and it's not just because the name of the song is the last word said on the previous song or something stupid like that. But It seems like there all connected literally.

But I would also agree with you that Opeth is personal and that there all good you just have to listen to themand decide witch one is your favorite.

BWP isn't supposed to be a journey though is it. It's clearly more song based.

i should imagine that artistically you'd want to do something a bit different each time anyway. Especially when you live sleep and breathe Opeth like they do 365 days a year!
