i recorded a band called LIVE ELEPHANT last sunday. we recorded 2 tracks on 7 hours. i mixed this on 5 hours.

im really happy with the sound i got. what do you think?

mixed in Cubase 4 with UAD-1 cards.

guitars are recorded with my Mesa Boogie Dual Rec w/ one MD421

I like it a lot too! The snare is really nice, but so is the whole production. Did you use samples? The guitars have a nice unique sound to them. Maybe it's because of the md421 and instead of the 57... What cab did you use? The reverse effects in the end of the song there are really awesome!

This is the drums. I used samples on the kick and snare.
Snare is Steven Slate nr 7 from the Elite mixer. Kick is the Pantera 1 from some kick collection from this forum.
Toms are original. Remember that this is a very quick recording. for bass we used a AMPEG head and cab. miced with one MD421
