I was on an incredibly tight budget.

- Circus Maximus girly tee (very grateful for the girl sizes)
- On the Two Deaths of Pain of Salvation Limited Edition DVD

Aaaand that's it. It was hard for me not to pick up the Ayreon 01011001 Limited Edition DVD. My sister did grab a Sabaton girly tee with a V-neck and glitter. I was pretty jealous of that.

Some clarification regarding the Arjen Lucassen's Guilt Machine....

We were not trying to "dump" any copies. The discs are priced based on our cost.

In Europe Mascot Records released 3 versions:

1. standard jewel box
2. digipak with bonus dvd and 24 page booklet
3. limited edition digibook with bonus dvd and 32 page booklet

Something obviously went wrong with the print job on the digipak - it looked like utter shit. Not sure why someone at Mascot didn't pick up on it.

But...its not our problem. I imagine if you contact Mascot they might be able to give you more information and perhaps they are going to do an exchange program - I don't know.

The shirt with the logo on the front that looked like a red sun? LOVED this one! I was very happy to find this, as I had previously ordered a CM shirt online that was supposed to be a women's size. (The one with "ISOLATE" on the back). Well perhaps it was a women's SIZE...as in slightly smaller than the comparable men's size...but it was definitely not a woman's SHAPE.

Someone did have Memory Garden - Carnage Carnival. I think laser's edge. I actually picked it up out of the bin, but passed on buying it (I actually ran out of money! Shit!)
Dark Suns - Existence is a beyond brilliant, beautiful album, it was my #1 album of 2005 and it was a "deaf" buy for me, I didn't know what to expect.

I picked up albums by Angel Witch, DGM, Swallow the Sun, Spiritual Beggars, Stratovarius, Crimson Glory, Skyclad, Count Raven, Pagan Altar, Manticora, Veni Domine, DSO (I actually bought the wrong one by accident...oops) and a couple others I can't remember right now. Wish I'd remembered to bring more money!

Yes, yes! It's beautiful, and I adore it. In addition to her glittery Sabaton shirt, my sister also grabbed a Pagan's Mind girly tee that I wanted to steal. I wish the official ProgPower shirts would come in women's sizes again. I still have my PPVII spaghetti strap shirt, and I wear it all the time.

The ladies love metal, too! :kickass:

Now I understand the differences! I didn't mean to imply that you were trying to dump the poorly-printed ones, I just didn't know what the differences were between the products for the prices so I used the description of the graphics to clarify the three stacks. So I got the digibook, dvd, a 32 page booklet, AND it's limited edition? Dang, not a bad deal for an extra $5! :headbang: Thanks for straightening us (me!) out on the differences (and for having it available to begin with!)

I bought way too much, but I'm glad to see based on this thread that my spending was about average.

I picked up 23 discs (a mix of this year's acts, next year's acts, and some others like Redemtion, Edgend, Wiszdom Stone, Halcyon Way), PPUSA VII, VIII, and X DVDs, two PPX shirts, two CM shirts, and a DSO shirt.

Hey Kimberly, out of curiosity, did you stick to your cash-only rule or did you break down and use plastic? That's some haul you got there!

Hey Kimberly, out of curiosity, did you stick to your cash-only rule or did you break down and use plastic? That's some haul you got there!

Ha! Yep, cash only. There was so much great stuff in the vendor room that I could have *easily* spent $2,000 if I'd used plastic. Talk about a kid in a candy store!!

My original budget for merch was $350, so I went a little over, but I came in under budget on my food, transportation, and other spending money. (YAY for my flight getting in on time Wednesday night so I could take the MARTA to the hotel instead of a cab). So it ended up being a wash. :)

Tickets for Progpower XI, Rob Rock DVD and Rob Rock t shirt, a PPUSA X shirt, Highland Glory cd, Stormwind cd, Future's End cd, Six Minute Century cd, Dawn Rider cd, Cain's Offering cd, Midnight Sun cd, Steeler cd, I was looking for Outloud, Ted Poley, and Danger Danger but couldn't find it,also got new Doro cd, Solna cd, and a Brainstrom shirt, I really spent alot of money I also Pre order a copy of the PPUSA X DVD, so i think i spent a total of like maybe 900 or 1000

Think I have you covered on these bro, hit me up at Nightmare -(Ted Poley, and Danger Danger)

Delain "April Rain" (I love it! Can't stop playing it!)
a Seventh Wonder CD
and another CD, can't remember the name but it was recommended at the Nightmare table :)

WYVERN! Wowza, how much did you end up spending on that gigantic haul?

Thanks Kitty! :)
