What do you guys think about this guitar tone?

A guitar tone I've been working on. Going for more of an open rock sound. (Check out the band No Love Lost for my ideal tone.) This is Onqel's X30 with the gain a little less than halfway. can't really remember my other settings right now. Also tell me what you think about the drums. There's no bass yet, haven't had time to throw it down quite yet.

I like the tone in general, I don't really like the palm mutes that much tho. Maybe play around with a tubescreamer or something like this http://www.bteaudio.com/software/TSS/TSS.html

Yea I had TSS in front but it made it a little too sharp for rock music. I'm going for more of a lower gain rock setting. Just trying to get it right. Thanks for the input

are you using two different tones? the palm mutes sound wierd, thats why im asking. other than the palms, the sound is pretty decent for that style

It's good, I'd only boost the top end to add some air in there.
