What do you think of this clip?

My guitar is broken, I don't have a bass guitar and every bass from everyone I know suck so I prefer programming midi bass. There is a band interested in recording some songs with me and I'm going to mix and master those, the guitarist lent me his crappy guitar today so I can get a good tone out of it and I came up with this test this morning, not tight, old strings blah blah blah just a fast test. Do you think that the master sounds squashed? What sounds terrible? Can you hear the low end in the programmed bass? I don't care about the lazy programmed drums, my main concern is the low end in the bass and the mastering pumping in some parts.

It sounds pretty good to me man!
The bass isnt that clear. I'm not sure if i hear it, or if it's the low-end on the guitar. What about a clip without the bass?

I do notice the bass but it sounds dead, sort of just blends in underneath the rest of the instruments, but that can sometimes be a desirable aesthetic.

I think there is a noticeable difference, the bass it fills up some space but I can't tell if it sounds ok, I don't have studio monitors that's why I can't tell if it sounds muddy or good in other systems. Thanks fugdup!
