Bit of both, at least the kinds of Bidster. The auction winners do get the prizes AFAIK, but it's a bit misleading to call them auctions. They're more of lotteries, at least in my (and the Finnish authorities') eyes. The revenue these companies make from selling a freaking PS3 or such is pretty absurd :zombie:
but some people have a method of winning these auction. one guy in sweden bought a fucking car for a total of 550 euro + a moped for 33 euro and a PS3 for 50Euro... probably laid like at least 100 bids per object
hmm i understand - because i suppose when you consider example each time you bid it costs .50 cent and 600 people bid the site makes 300 quid - and if they auction something like a mobile phone worth only 100 quid they make a lot of profit. they just seem so appealing especially when you hear like "someone bought a macbook pro for 100 euro's"
My brother won a 50" full-hd tv and some wierd alarm thing that wakes you up when youre at your lightest point in your sleep cycle, lol
Seems reliable, dunno
