What does this band sound like?

Right now we're in a sort of transitional state auditioning new singers. The new songs we're wrighting are mostly heavier than the older ones and more riff based.
But, to answer your question, we're a metal/hard rock band that plays complex music, but try our best to make it help the song rather than distract from it. We use lots of synth textures and leads but I try to use newer interesting sounds instead of the same cheezy sounds everybody is already sick of. Our songs are melodic and have hints of our influences which are everything from classic rock, techno, metal, film scores, pop, and even video games. We'll be making some rough live recordings from our rehearsals pretty soon so then you'll be able to get a better idea of what we really sound like.

I was just wndering the same thing. It sounds interesting. I'd be curious to hear whatever you end up with.

Yes, mp3.com is no more. Rather than reposting the old material with the old lineup, we decided to wait until we had new recordings of what we actually sound like now. We're still playing all the old songs, but with almost half the band being being new since the Tales from the Mobius Strip demo came out, we felt it was best to offer something new.

wow the description of what you sound like sounds very interesting! I love video game music too and is probably the reason I was able to get into progressive metal so easily. I will make sure to check you guys out!
