When people say "I could care less"... When they really mean "I couldn't care less".

Another one is "most everything" instead of "almost everything"...

I've got another illiteracy-phrase used by a lot of people (sadly English being the mother tongue in many of these cases):

"most definitely"

Something is or is not "definite", it can't be more or less "definite".

Let me apply Seinfeld* to explain this:
GEORGE
You're gonna over dry it.

JERRY
Ya--Ya can't over dry.

GEORGE
Why not?!

JERRY
Same reason you can't over wet. See, once something is wet, it's Wet. Same thing with Death. Like, once you die, you're dead. Right? Let's say you drop dead an' I shoot you. You're not gonna die again; you're already dead! Ya can't over die, ya can't over dry!

I know most people use "most" there to emphasize. Well, it is still wrong... and retarded. There's no need to emphasize something that is DEFINITE (sorry for being redundant). Same reason people don't say stuff like "more better" or "most better", for example.

*"Appy Seinfeld" is a phrase I use when something can be explained with a part of a Seinfeld episode, and that is: everything in life. :D
