What happened to the MR SHOW movie?

I can remember Scott talking about this about a year ago, did it just fall on it's arse and not get released?

new line was like, "eeeeeeeeeeeeeh... we're not gonna release it" and bob and david were like, "FINE! it actually sucked anyway." but fans bitched enough and it was released straight to DVD.
