I can’t speak for everyone, but the feedback I’ve seen and heard is pretty mixed, and it often depends more on the individual store than the Guitar Center brand itself. For basic setups or minor issues, they’re usually fine, especially if the tech on staff knows Jacksons or Ibanez trem systems well. More complex repairs can be hit or miss, and turnaround times sometimes drag. Customer service tends to be friendly up front, but follow-up and communication during repairs aren’t always great. If it’s a higher-end guitar or a serious issue, many players still prefer a dedicated local luthier.
