Is this him? Doesn't look like him... I grabbed my CD insert, and I couldn't notice any similarity with the ex-SyX's drummer. Anyway, 50/50 that I can be wrong...

lotsa metal/prog guys have given it up to do regular rock music. 2/3rds of Rage quit in 1999 to form a pop rock band...this guy I knew at Berklee who's an amazing shredder quit that to play U2 style rock...people's tastes just change I guess...

There's a guy at the music school here who's just an awesome guitarist in every way who plays total bitchy nothing-but-love-song pop rock. I don't know if it's because he likes it or because it sells. And all the members of his band are big DT fans, but they're happy to play the stuff. *shrug*

Exactly. Miller was easily the most talented of the ex-Symphony X members, in my opinion.
