What is wrong with this re-amping?

I am recording a dry track from my Axe-FX II via USB into reaper:

I am then applying Legion as a plugin for that track and it sounds like this:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/44864413/Track1_amp.wav

I then apply LeCab 2 after this and put in some impulses I got from this forum (catharsis-awesometime-fredman) and it sounds like this:

It sounds nothing like a good guitar and certainly nowhere near what my Axe-FX can produce. Where did I go wrong here? Is the dry track supposed to sound like the way it does? Which step is wrong here?

That is not reamping. That is amping.
Reamping is when you record a DI signal, and then at a later time run it out into an AMP and record that signal.

I think that level of dry track is low (almost -20 db), for most ampsims you will need to amplify this before any screamer or amp. Input level in plugin can be insufficient. Better to add gain before ADC, to reduce noise. Amp+Cab signal have serious clipping.
