what is your favorite mid-tempo thrash song?

"Seasons In the Abyss" is farking awesome.

Let's see, mid-tempo thrash that pwns...
Sodom–Remember the Fallen
Slayer–At Dawn They Sleep
Kreator–Terror Zone
Dark Angel–Black Prophecies (most of the 18 different time signatures are mid-tempo-ish.)
Overkill–Gasoline Dream (one of the greatest thrash songs ever)
Overkill–Nice Day...For A Funeral
Overkill–The Years of Decay
Exodus–And Then There Were None
Anthrax–Belly of the Beast
Metallica–Leper Messiah
Megadeth–Looking Down the Cross

Most their stuff now days is pretty mid tempo. Alot of Bloodletting and Killbox are mid paced. Testaments COTLOD or curse of the legions of dead is like one of my favorite thrash songs, but its not mid tempo.

Bloodletting is actually a really fast album compared to Necroshine or From the Underground & Below...at least, the most noticeable songs ("Bleed Me," "Death Comes Out To Play," and the godly "What I'm Missin'") are pretty damn fast. Killbox does have a good chunk of mid-paced stuff, yeah. "The Sound of Dying" fucking RULES...I'd have to say the best song on their is also the fastest, though–"Unholy." That song fucking shreds.

MY favorite part is....IM COMING HOME ..THUNDERHEAD.

My right hand man is a fav of mine too. :rock:Its wierd how Stone cold jesus starts almost exatly the same as the bass solo on Mets Killem all. Correct me if im wrong but its been a long time since Ive heard it but its one of those.  I really like From Underground or Below.
Save me with the wierd MIR..ACle MAn Your..A Mir..ACle MAn. THats a cool song.

That's actually "Stone Cold Jesus" which starts out with a quick bit of Cliff's bass solo. Heh, I just noticed that the other day...just a random tribute DD tossed in.

I'm not that big on FTUAB, actually, though I've only heard it a couple times...only one I don't own. It's just not as thrashy and consistently good as the others. But it's still decent; I'm pretty sure Overkill is physically incapable of making a bad album.

Shit, I'm gonna listen to em now.

FTUAB was the first album I ever heard by them. Yeah killbox had some heavy ass shit stuff o there. Dave LInsk is a fucking beast. He reminds me of RHYNO in the WWE. They look alike and have the same build. I like Linsk playing much more then comeaus or marino. I did like Marinos solos on Necroshine though. I actually havent heard alot of their older stuff. I think when it comes to the older stuff Testament is usually what i listen to for thrash.
