What makes this Schecter worth $5200?

This model just appeared in Japan for 670,000 Yen, which at today's exchange rate is $5200. That's just nuts. Jeff's signature model, a 7 string, is $1200. Even Broderick's Jackson guitar, which is overpriced to begin with, doesn't come close.

So can anyone see what makes this thing so special?
 
I've been selectively selling off a few of my BC Rich Handmades, 2 went to Japan for an absurd amount of money. I'd much rather see them go into the hands of players who appreciate them so that is not going to happen again. Other than it looks like a PRS rip off, who knows. Japan is a strange strange place lol.
