Hey guys just woundering what recording magazines you guys read to keep up to date with the recording industry.

I subscribe to TapeOp and Sound on Sound. Both end up stacked in a pile just outside the bathroom door 
I subscribe to the following:Electronic Musician; Recording Magazine; MIX all been in business for at least 20 years and have some great articles and reviews

I get TapeOp and EQ, I'm not sure if they keep me "up" on the music recording industry necessarily, but there is the occasional article that sparks an idea or a new way of looking at something I'm used to doing a certain way.

Sorry, I read "music magazine" in the title and switched the word "recording"
And mix give you the first 3 issues free and if you like after that you pay the subscription which is peanuts looks like im going to be doing a lot more reading in my spare time

i read Mix, TapeOp, EQ, Keyboard, Recording (because i get all those at school for free) and i also buy Sound on Sound and Electronic Musician whenever i can.

Hell yeah. Just received my first issue yesterday and it seems to have really interesting articles. Btw. It hasn't been free for EU countries for long, so if you didn't know it, you should definately place an order!
TapeOp, Recording, Mix, EQ, Electronic Musician, Keyboard, because I also get those free at school, but I'm a big fan of this forum and there should be an Andy Sneap Magazine contributed to for live and studio by all who are here in the forums, especially Oz and Andy, and all these other pros I left out.

I read Recording (got a hell of a review in August 05 Reader's Tapes if anyone's interested) & been subsribing to it since 1996. I also read EQ, but let my subscription lapse when they went through the format change a few years ago. They stopped putting people on the cover & started putting gear there instead. Wrong move, IMO. People make great records... not the gear. I also read Tape OP when I can find it.
