What sample rate are you guys using?(kemper related)

I'm using a Kemper->Echo Audiofire4->Reaper(on MBP)

I've always used 44.1(24bit). Just wondering if anyone uses something higher(like 48 or 96) and why(Ive read a lot of the arguments but I wanted to hear your own reasons)

I'm also wondering if the kemper can even perform at higher than 44.1

I think the Kemper is locked to 44.1 unless you really dig in and force 48 but then you have to create your own 48k profiles. I've mostly done 44.1 for rock, 88.2 for classical.

yea thats what I thought....I kinda wish they support other sample rates

Aren't most of us around here recording at 24/48 in the event of video? Are you still using the kemper at 44.1 when the project has a sample rate of 48?

This is only an issue when recording digitally via SPDIF.

I'd be willing to bet most of us are recording at 24/44.1 - "In the event of video"? How often do your productions end up being burned to DVD?
