Well, i tried a whole fucking bunch of shit and im throwing the axe to the corner till i het my 5150's direct out working. Im just not getting any better sound from my range of skills. Geeees..

The tone is too muddy, too much gain, too little treble.
Guitars are loud, so if guitars are muddy and loud, everything sounds muddy.
Just work a bit on the eq and levels and you'll hear results.
