Yeah it would look really cheap with a live photo on the shirt. But it's just a matter of taste .

Maybe the photos of the members on the shirt wouldn't look that bad If they were placed with a different way on the shirt, and maybe some effects. For example a paradise lost shirt had the faces of the members in the shape of a dagger at the back of the shirt , If I'm not wrong.
