What to expect from Metallica's new album

Hm. I'll definitely listen to it, but I didn't especially like DM and Lulu didn't even warrant a listen.
If they could recapture the Master of Puppets style I'd be happy, but they are a lot older than they were then.
I'm not desperate for this, but I'm hoping it will be good.

You never know they may surprise. Look at Opeth. They put out two pretty meh records and then followed up with Heritage, while different, is a great album.

Lulu wasn't that terrible. If it was thirty minutes or so shorter I'd probably listen to it on occasion.

Yep. Metallica sucks huge ass

I'd be interested in why you despise them so much. Metallica is still better than any of your top 15 bands on last fm tbh and I don't even like Metallica at all. You have 4400 Slipknot plays bro. You're a maniac. Did Lars Ulrich molest you when you were a kid? Did your mother told you they sucked because they don't wear pinnochio masks? Don't get me wrong - I think they suck too (since like, 90's), I just want to hear it explained from someone with such a bad taste in music. Just so I can laugh at more things I hate at once.

Onder trolls harder than Seth Putnam.

Please explain how was I trolling. Thanks.

EDIT: I'm starting to get unsure about what that word really means. It feels like using some word, say, "tree" to describe a tree since childhood and then having bunch of retards use it for something else until you're like, wtf, this is not a tree, this is a bicycle. Long story short, I'm certain that I can tell the difference between a bicycle and a tree.

Stop calling me a tree.

I just want them to do what they want and not try to be something they are not. I feel like they strayed from their path after the Loads. You can think whatever you want about the Loads but I felt that that was what they wanted to do. Slow it down, rock it out. Then they felt they wanted to be metal again but misjudged everything with St Anger. They realized their mistake and made Death Magnetic but somewhere along the way it seems like they forgot how to write metal songs with a good flow to them (I do think it has its good moments though). And lets not speak about the horrible sound on that disc. With Lulu I have no idea what they tried to accomplish.

So basically, I just wish they would look into themselves and put out what comes from the heart. For me it hasnt felt like theyve done that in a long time.

 I haven't laughed that hard at something on the internet in a very long time, thank you. But really, you weren't trolling, and the word is losing its meaning as time goes on because people see it used on the internet for the first time and assume it means being mean or something. This is what trolling is:

Metallica has only released two good albums out of shitloads. But as long as Lars Ulrich is doing the drumming this will with 99% certainly suck ass.

Metallica hasn't made a good album in 20 years, and Death Magnetic was just a weak attempt to sound like they used to. They aren't organically making good music any more, they're just trying to sound like themselves. They're like Slayer without the actual appeal

Thought Death Magnetic was much better than the Black Album, which I find soooo dull, tbh. I have no expectations of the new album, my lack of expectations allowed me to enjoy a lot of DM.
